Mrs. Kweyamba served at the National Insurance Corporation (NIC) in various capacities including being Head of internal audit department, Head of the accounts and finance departments and Senior Manager Treasury where she oversaw the recovery of company funds from defaulting policy holders; drafted the company’s current investment policy; helped prepare a credit policy and establish a credit unit that helped reduce the company’s exposure to bad debts.
She started her career in the accounts department at Cooperative bank from 1988 -1999 where she handled budgets, payrolls and fixed asset registry
Mrs. Kweyamba is currently a board member of the Uganda Insurers Association and a board member of National Insurance Corporation (NIC) and serves on the Finance Committee and Audit & Investment Committees respectively.
She has a Degree of Arts in Social Sciences from Makerere University, undertook professional training with ACCA and has a certificate in Oak Seed Executive Leadership Program from the Institute for National Transformation.
